One Dojo Volunteers

Hi team!

With Fall break and storm damage, there's a long list of tasks we're working on. I've made some notes so far of what we have in plan and what others have agreed to contribute so far. I'll edit and update this as we make progress. :) Thank you to the team that came today to get us started with ripping up the damaged flooring and prepping the rooms for deep clean!

Overall Schedule

• SATURDAY: ceiling tiles and prepping new mats

• SUNDAY: deep industrial clean and wall repairs

• MONDAY: floor laying, mat laying, toy room reorganization, playroom paint

• TUESDAY: slack day for whatever doesn't get done

STORM DAMAGE CLEANING

Materials we have:

• Patrick Martin to come do industrial clean and child safe bug spray

Needs/Questions:

• New long extension cords with multiple plugs

• Dehumidifiers/air purifiers/large ventilation fans

BLUE WALL REPAIR

Materials we have:

• Paint

Needs/Questions:

• Need: new large piece of dry wall for the broken board

• Need: patching materials for the holes behind the blue wall mats

MAT LAYING

Materials we have:

• Mats

• Mat tape

Needs/Questions:

• Need: transport mats from coaches garage to gym (will require a large trailer16-20ft)

• Need: measure the black, red, and blue sections of mat to lay even color distribution

• Need: cut mats to size - need razor blade tools and metal yardsticks

• Need: gorilla glue for mat repair and sealant

SEATING AREA FLOOR LAYING

Materials we have:

• Zach + Michelle have vinyl flooring

Needs/Questions:

• What is needed to set this flooring and cut it to size?

• What needs to be done to set the floor and stick the tiles?

• Need: spray paint for a fun matching color with our decor + yellow paint for kids hand prints + clear sealant spray paint

CEILING

Materials we have:

• Mold paint

• UV cleaner for ceiling

Needs/Questions:

• Need: 9 ceiling 2 x 4 tiles

• Does Restore have celing tiles? (Victor Domin will check)

• Paint molded ceiling in the playroom with the mold attack and prevention paint

PLAYROOM

• REORGANIZE - ReStore items if available

• Christmas tree storage

• Increase storage space

BATHROOM

• Fix drain in sink

• ReStore - soap dispenser

• Fix the paper towel dispenser
